Hi,I m tryng to setup a secure masternode on ubuntu16.
node it’s running but seems not connected.

$ zen-cli getinfo

“version”: 2002151,
“protocolversion”: 170002,
“walletversion”: 60000,
“balance”: 0.00000000,
"blocks": 0,
“timeoffset”: 0,
"connections": 0,
… “errors”: “WARNING: check your network connection, 0 blocks received in the last 4 hours (96 expected)”

I’ve created a addresses in node and transferd funds 0.0499 you can see in the blockchain:

but typing $ zen-cli getwalletinfo :

“walletversion”: 60000,
“balance”: 0.00000000,
“unconfirmed_balance”: 0.00000000,

Are you hosting this node on a VPS with a provider or running this in a virtual machine running locally on one of your computers/server?

I m hosting securenode at home in a old pc. Installed os ubuntu, also configurated the modem to use noip address. Opened port ssh,http,https,9033 it’s ok. I 've tested ssh @public address and it’s accessible but when I use ping command 0 packets received 100% loss

It looks like you are not getting any connectivity to other nodes to sync the blockchain. This is most likely because you do not have any network connectivity out. The zend daemon will establish 8 outbound connections using the seed nodes quite quickly after starting it.

Were you pinging out or pinging your node from outside?

If you didnt ping out, can you please run
ping -c 4 google.com

If that does not work then your networking will need to be looked at to that old pc

The pinging out request is ok — google.com ping statistics —
4 packets transmitted, 4 received, 0% packet loss, time 3005ms

I 'll test in a VPS to compare connectivity problem…First node I try to create was on vultr.com but their machines 6$/month are just weak. I rember the test $zen-cli zcbenchmark createjoinsplit 1 runninigtime was upper than 200s…aginst my local machine “runningtime”: 61.565209
Ok I test it and I come back soon, tnx Psyrax

Hi, problem solved reconfigurating modem. Yes outbound traffic was blocked. Tnx for your help Psyrax
